Paper, Scissors, Rocket!
Co3’s first independently commissioned work for primary schools, Paper, Scissors, Rocket! was created for a regional tour in July – August 2016. With the support of Country Arts WA and Healthway through the Act-Belong-Commit initiative, Co3 visited 23 primary schools, delivering 22 performances and 52 workshops over 3 weeks across regional Southwest WA.
Join Co3 dancers on a fun and exciting adventure where two friends explore their strengths and weaknesses, and work together to create a space for collaboration and compromise. Watch the dancers progress through a series of games and challenges, discovering their similarities and differences and how each person is valuable in their own way.
One character prefers things to be ordered, while the other is happy to figure things out as they go. In the end, they discover that sometimes you need to make a plan, whereas other times it’s okay to take a risk; the most important thing is combining your talents and working together.
