IN.STUDIO annually enables 100 hours of FREE studio space support for the independent dance community in Perth.

In 2022, artists are once again able to apply for studio space, at King Street Arts Centre or Jubilee Hall at WA Museum Boola Bardip (when Co3 is in residence), for activities including developing artistic practice, choreographic exploration, holding technique class, research and experimentation.

IN.STUDIO offers artists the opportunity to focus on development without the expectation of an outcome.

Successful applicants will individually receive up to 10 hours of free studio space. Longer residencies of up to one week are also available upon request.

  • Participants must be WA residents.
  • Participants must meet the ‘up to date’ vaccination status.

Submit an EOI describing in 150 words (or less):

  • Your intention for the use of the space.
  • The names of people to be involved
  • Your preferred dates and times of studio hire (subject to availability)
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificates of all people involved

Booking requests are on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability.  To notify us of your interest in this initiative, send an email to with ‘IN.STUDIO Booking Request’ in the subject.
