YOUR IDEAS

IN.HOUSE annually gives the opportunity for independent WA dance makers to explore concept ideas and present choreographic work. One choreographer is offered a $15,000 stipend, 76 hrs of studio space and mentorship from Co3 Artistic Director Raewyn Hill to support further development of their work. IN.HOUSE is a space for reflection, research and development, supporting the time for exploration to develop a larger idea.

At the completion of the research and development phase, the selected choreographer is supported in presenting their ideas in a public-facing ticketed studio showing hosted by Co3 at our performance home in the State Theatre Centre WA.

TO APPLY

IN.HOUSE is curated by the Artistic Director in consultation with the Artistic Advisory Panel. Expressions of interest for IN.HOUSE are available by invitation only.

ELIGILBILITY

  • Applicants and performers must be WA residents.
  • Applicants and performers must be available for a full week of technical rehearsals and performances.
  • Applicants are encouraged to participate our annual IN.STUDIO program.

ADDITIONALLY

IN.HOUSE also provides choreographic opportunities with a public outcome by partnering with other high-calibre companies. These opportunities are an extension of the IN.HOUSE pathway and EOI’s are requested when they arise.
