Sam Coren

Sam is a choreographer, performer and movement director working across dance, theatre and film. His work swings between choreographic precision and theatrical mess, sometimes heartfelt, often absurd. He’s into mixing his dance background with clowning, mime, masks and the place where sincerity and silliness collide.

He trained at London Contemporary Dance School (BA, MA) and has worked with Hofesh Shechter Company, Jasmin Vardimon, Gecko Theatre, Clod Ensemble, The Farm, Australasian Dance Collective, Club Guy & Roni and the Royal Opera House. Screen credits include FKA Twigs, English National Ballet, Jon Hopkins, the Chemical Brothers, Myer, Uber, and Universal Pictures.

Sam likes holding space where people can take risks, stay weird and make something unexpected. Currently based between UK/Europe and Australia, and still not sure what time it is.
