In 2016, Co3 added a new stream to the Co:Youth program; an Elite Training Squad (ETS). Through consultation with dance department staff in leading tertiary dance institutions, Co3 has identified the need to increase the strength and conditioning training of senior members of the Act-Belong-Commit Co:Youth ensemble who intend to enter tertiary dance training.

The Elite Training Squad replicates the strength and conditioning program of the Co3 main ensemble. All Elite Training Squad members will also join the Act-Belong-Commit Co:Youth Ensemble. ETS is in addition to the Co:Sundays, where all Act-Belong-Commit Co:Youth (including ETS) continue their immersion in creative collaboration, choreography, performance skills, and improvisation techniques.

Also included are regular master classes with the Co3 Artistic Director, guest teaching artists and choreographers. Workshops in achievement thinking, elite performance psychology and nutrition will be a part of the program.

The Elite Training Squad is limited to a maximum of 20 participants, and is only open to dancers in Year 10 or above (or at the discretion of the Co3 Artistic Director).
