Alice Kell (nee Hinde) joined Co3 Contemporary Dance as a guest artist for the return season of re:Loaded in 2016. She began working with Raewyn Hill at Dancenorth in 2012 and has a background in the creative industries spanning 15 years having worked in Australia and Europe as a dance theatre performer and choreographer.
After graduating from QUT Alice joined Dancenorth in 2005 under the Artistic Direction of Gavin Webber. In 2009 she became freelance and worked with notable companies including Force Majeure, Physical Virus Collective (Germany), Animal Farm Collective.
Over the years Alice has designed and coordinated costumes for Dancenorth, Force Majeure, Animal Farm Collective, Regurgitator and the Australian Ballet. In 2015 Alice extended her love for design by completing a Diploma of Interior Design with a focus on set design.
Most recently Alice has undertaken a Masters of Teaching (Primary). The birth of her two children has been the catalyst for intrigue into child and adolescent development and pedagogy. Alice endeavours to combine her passion for education and her extensive background in the creative arts, fostering creativity in all its dimensions in today’s youth.
