MOWGLI
Piloted by his genre versatility and faultless track selection, it has become clear that MOWGLI has solidified his status as a dancefloor powerhouse. His ability to fuse his cultural influences with global club sounds has allowed him to cross over from a regular club DJ to a recognised name nationally and beyond.
In 2023, MOWGLI completed his debut Australian tour, where he took his sounds to the iconic Splendour In The Grass Festival, as well as headline sets at Section 8 in Melbourne and One22 in Canberra. His sets also took him across the oceans with shows at Club HYPE in Argentina, Boxout in India and Rumble in Bali. MOWGLI continued his momentum in 2024, performing at Wildlands Festival and headlining his own event series, MOWGLI & Friends. He then had the opportunity to play back-to-back with FredAgain.. at a secret party during the final stop of Fred’s Australian tour.
Shortly after, MOWGLI embarked on his first Asia tour, performing nine shows across India, Malaysia, and Indonesia. He closed out the year by supporting Indo Warehouse, Habibeats, and Panjabi MC, as well as performing at the inaugural Radar Festival in Perth. Beyond his DJing, MOWGLI has been releasing a string of edits and remixes from an upcoming “DJ club tool” pack, which is a collection of dubs and edits from UKG, grime, baile funk to Jungle and more.
His first 3 soundcloud releases have amassed more than 15000 streams and over 1000 downloads, while gaining cosigns from the likes of Fish56Octagon, Foura, Jyoty and Sin Howard to name a few. MOWGLI’s passion for music extends across to KERFEW, a collective he co-founded aimed at promoting and uplifting South Asian creatives across Australia. He also heads up HIVE, an event brand renowned for its high energy shows featuring global club selectors like Jyoty, Jael and DJ Habibeats. Moreover, MOWGLI shares his music taste as a presenter on CloudWaves via RTRFM.
This experience has also led to guest mix appearances at brands like Triple J, Sound Gallery, CADA, Boxout FM (India), Bali Link and Headstream (Potato Head, Bali) as well as facilitating live Keynotes with TA-KU at the 2023 WAMCon industry festival and FNZ’s first ever live interview at their home town, Perth.
MOWGLI is now gearing up to announce another national and international tour as well as releasing a collection of original music and edits in 2025.
