Andrew Searle

Andrew is a founding dancer of Co:3 Australia. Andrew pursued dance from a young age at Terry Simpson Studios in South Australia. After graduating high school, Andrew trained full-time at the New Zealand School of Dance (2010-2012) and received a Diploma in Dance Performance. Andrew worked with Raewyn Hill at Dancenorth in 2013 and 2014, performing and touring with the company throughout Queensland, Tasmania and New Zealand.  Andrew also worked with Tasdance and TheFARM prior to joining Co:3 Australia in 2015.

Most recently Andrew has remounted Raewyn Hill’s work Carnivale on the LINK Dance Company as well as the 2019 graduating class of New Zealand School of Dance.  Andrew performed in Garry Stewart’s Reincarnation, a collaboration with Co:3 Australia and West Australian Ballet as part of In-Synch: Ballet at the Quarry 2019 and also THE LINE (2019) co-directed by Raewyn Hill & Mark Howett.

Since joining Co:3 Australia Andrew has performed in Co:3 Australia’s re:Loaded (2015), choreographed by Larissa McGowan, Gavin Webber and Raewyn Hill. Andrew also performed in Raewyn Hill’s the cry (2016), Frank Enstein (2017 & 2018) made by THE FARM, in collaboration with Co:3 Australia, Raewyn Hill’s THE ZONE (2017). In 2018, he performed in WA Dance Makers Project in works by Chrissie Parrott and Unkempt Dance.
