Talitha Maslin

Talitha is a performer, teacher and choreographer who works with the interdisciplinary practice of dance, film, visual design and sound. She is most interested in a cross-disciplinary approach to making dance. Through collaboration she seeks to continuously explore and expand her capabilities as a choreographer and performer, producing collaborative performances that can push the borders between performance art, dance and physical theatre. She enjoys working closely with musicians, designers and filmmakers as they offer different perspectives and enrich her creative processes through an in the moment dialogue and exchange.

Talitha has balanced her performance and choreographic career with community engagement work. She has lived in remote regions and worked with diverse groups to provide high-quality dance education and performance opportunities to people with limited access. This experience keeps her grounded as a maker and performer, and enables her to remain curious about how to bring live dance experiences to diverse audiences.
