The Artist in Residence (AIR) guides our Co:Youth Dance Company through the creation of a new site-specific work in partnership with AWESOME Festival 2020.

The AIR and members of the Co:Youth Dance Company make an artistic response to an iconic Perth venue. In consultation with Artistic Director, Raewyn Hill, the AIR creates the overall artistic vision of the work and has the opportunity to select their creative team. They have the support of Artistic Associate, Alice Kell, Youth and Engagement Associate, Jess Lewis, two assistant teaching artists and the administration team of Co3 Contemporary Dance as they lead this work to its final performance outcome in AWESOME Festival.

New IN RESIDENCE initiative to be announced soon for 2021-22.
